Two Elk Restaurant - Vail, Colorado

This ski-in/ski-out restaurant chose to expand the size of their dining room by enclosing the existing patio lunch area into a new dining room. Heavy log and timber were used to match the existing building's architectural materials. Due to early record breaking snowfall, Vail Resorts requested that the already fast-track 123-day schedule be accelerated in order to open the on-mountain restaurant in November. Using creativity (the crew actually slept and cooked on site) and working closely with the subcontractors, we delivered the addition within 54 days - nearly 2 months ahead of schedule.
