Ever since building the Vail Valley’s first environmental home in 1981 (with passive and active solar, sod roof and 8” concrete walls), R.A. Nelson & Associates has been keenly aware of the benefits of sustainable construction. As mountain dwellers, we believe we’re charged with the responsibility of providing green building expertise at every opportunity. Green design, sustainable technology, energy efficiency, and building to LEED® standards are but a small piece of what we offer. Mountain construction deserves truly sustainable practices, processes and buildings. R.A. Nelson is dedicated to making that happen.
