Annie Mitchell Homestead - Aspen, Colorado

R.A. Nelson was awarded the Annie Mitchell project after assembling a stellar developer/designer/builder team for the RFP process. The team provided the City of Aspen with a complete conceptual concept for land use, design and construction. The building team worked closely with the City of Aspen, Town Council and the Affordable Housing and Green Building guidelines to successfully complete a much needed employee housing complex. The completed project utilized only 25% of the available land on site, creating minimal environmental disturbances and allowing direct access to open space for all the residents.
